Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to visualize the key literature on the topic “Open Educational Resources” using the research discovery tool “Litmaps”.
Design/methodology/approach
Litmaps visual citation navigation, the ultimate science discovery platform, is used for the present study. It provides an interface for discovering scientific literature, explores the research landscape and discovers articles that are highly connected to maps. Litmaps provides quick-start options to import articles from reference manager, keyword search, ORCID ID, DOI or using a seed article. In this paper, “keyword search” and research strategy “Open Educational Resources” or “OER” are put to use.
Findings
The findings of the study revealed that Litmaps gives citations between articles over time visually. The map generated is dynamic as it is adjustable for making the map according to the researcher’s needs.
Research limitations/implications
Litmaps helps researchers in doing the literature review in a very brief and systematic way. It is helpful in finding the related or relevant studies through the seed paper/keyword search.
Originality/value
The study makes a useful contribution to the literature on this topic as one can independently find research topics and also compare topic overlapping. The study provides insights that help researchers in building citation maps and see connections between articles over time. The originality of the present paper lies in highlighting the importance of the research discovery tool Litmaps for the researchers as so far, to the best of the authors’ knowledge, no research has been taken place on using it.

Abstract
Purpose
This article aims to know the direction of current research based on the previous research in the last ten years (2012–2021).
Design/methodology/approach
Text mining was integrated with a network and content analysis as part of the mix methodological approach. The scientific articles, on the other hand, were assembled on Litmaps through web scraping. This process selected 86 articles about medical tourism published between 2012 and 2021. This study employed AntConc, RStudio and Gephi tools for data analysis and visualization.
Findings
A total of 138 articles were identified through Litmaps using web scraping and 86 studies met the criteria. The trend of medical tourism research is a positive sign for tourism and health industries; this is the beginning to recognize the importance of elaborating on these two topics. Several researchers have frequently studied issues of destination, hospital, development, quality, stakeholders, surgery, service, economics and policy. Policymakers must establish a medical tourism ecosystem to accommodate all stakeholders in this industry. This study also recommends focusing on supply and institution for medical tourism future research.
Research limitations/implications
This literature review presents research trends on medical tourism in 2012–2021 based solely on articles available on the Litmaps search engine. If the time span is extended and the sources of articles are expanded there will be more literature available for analysis. The articles obtained are also only articles published in English due to the language limitations of the author.
Practical implications
Policymakers must establish a medical tourism ecosystem to accommodate all stakeholders in this industry. Stakeholders must work together to provide medical tourism package therefore people can get their health services while visiting available tourist areas.
Originality/value
The literary study of medical tourism over 10 years is considered the most recent systematic literature review.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims to describe several artificial intelligence (AI)-based applications that librarians can use to serve and design virtual library instruction, so it will be more effective and efficient.
Design/methodology/approach
The approach involves a comprehensive review of AI-based applications that bring benefits to librarian to enhance the virtual instructional services (AI). This study explores the existing papers to reveal the potential use of AI for research consultation, designing the instructional services and conducting evaluation of the program.
Findings
There are some AI-based applications that are available for free that will help instructional librarian jobs. Librarians use the AI to increase effectiveness of the services. The AI-based applications that can be used to support instructional services on research inquiries include virtual assistance, knowledge mapping and note making, and to support designing virtual instruction, librarians can use design apps, image generators, voice generator, grammar checker and paraphrasing.
Originality/value
There are many studies on AI at the library; however, it’s still rare a paper studied AI-based application that potentially will bring benefit for virtual instructional services. This paper will give overview of AI application that will help instructional librarian on transactions with users and help librarians to create innovative instructional media.

Abstract
Purpose
The present paper assesses the decision problem of selecting Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems (SARP) by the hybrid MPSI-SPOTIS approach for deployment in border control and transborder illicit combat.
Design/methodology/approach
By the hybrid MCDA MPSI-SPOTIS approach, and from the database available in Gettinger (2019), models were filtered by Endurance, Range, Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW), and Payload, fitting within the classification of Categories EB 0 and 2. Category EB 1 was not considered in this study due to the limited number of models in the data source.
Findings
The use of the Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) tool MPSI-SPOTIS allowed the determination of weights by stochastic criteria, applied in a ranking method resistant to reverse ordering. The application of the method identified the Raybird-3 (Cat EB 0) and Searcher (Mk3) (Cat EB 2) models as the best alternatives. From a proposed clustering, other selection possibilities with close performance in the evaluation were presented. The cost criterion was not taken into consideration due to the absence of information in the data source employed. Future studies are suggested to include criteria related to the life cycle and acquisition cost of the models.

Purpose
Nurses work in a wide range of roles and settings, each with inherent stressors that can impact mental well-being. High levels of stress, burnout and clinical errors have been linked to the levels of support nurses have in their workplaces. Both consumers and health organisations benefit when nurses can engage in their work with support. Digital applications offer a promising option for supporting the mental well-being of nurses. This paper aims to provide analysis and synthesis of studies from the emerging field of research investigating the potential of digital applications to support the mental well-being of nurses.
Design/methodology/approach
An integrative literature review was conducted focused on studies published within the last ten years that employed digital applications specifically included to support nurses’ mental well-being. As part of the review inductive thematic analysis was then undertaken identifying four main themes diversity of digital applications; wide applicability across nursing; differing dimensions of well-being; and challenges to integration.
Findings
The study of digital applications used among nurses is a modern emerging field of research. Digital applications have considerable design variability and are being rolled out across multiple nursing specialities. They target differing aspects of mental well-being, offering promise despite the challenges to integration.
Originality/value
Digital applications are an emergent and promising option for supporting nurses' mental well-being. They have the potential to be personalised, cost-efficient and engaging platforms. The fast-paced technological advancement of digital applications will lead to the adoption of novel means of supporting nurses.

Finland’s globally accepted teaching practices are purely based on common sense, and holistically promote equity over excellence. “New Wine in a new bottle” literally means unlearning old thoughts and relearning new skills updated to changes in the world recouping to new trends and establishing ourselves full-fledged meeting the demand of the hour. The question of why India still doesn’t get enough Noble Prizes in required disciplines is still unanswerable. Still in India, there exist the archaic forms of the classroom setting with little room for flexibility and no educational freedom; moreover, with a highly pressurised testing environment. With the increasing population of Indian set-up, most of the teachers are underpaid and are less satisfied with the amount of effort they put in and their pay scale. A paradigm shift could be expected in India’s educational landscape post the introduction of the National Education Policy 2020; by reducing the academic workload for students and improving their holistic intelligence thereby. The NEP framework has been structured based on certain practical pedagogies from the Finnish context. The 5+3+3+4 model would encourage students to make their communication more effective, prioritising creativity, critical thinking, and personality development; say, various experts. There is a direct connection between education and poverty level in an economy. If the system lacks quality, then it would adversely affect the economic functioning of a nation. This study highlights the cases from both the Indian and Finnish contexts, clarifying the loopholes in our education system and what lessons could be incorporated from the Finnish model; so as to devise a policy at the national level for re-engineering the impoverished situations, keeping in mind sustainable architecture. This chapter is the first of its kind not ever published elsewhere and is original in nature.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this literature review is, first, to understand how employees with disabilities in the context of COVID-19 have been studied under the talent management (TM) approach; second, to explore what we know about the predictors and outcomes that have been linked to TM practices in that area; and third, to identify gaps in our understanding and provide insights for future research.
Design/methodology/approach
This paper presents a systematic literature review (SLR) based on 38 academic sources published in high-impact indexes from 2020 to 2023.
Findings
The existing research shows COVID-19 as a crucial context that led organizations to more precarious and segmented TM practices, which had negative consequences for employees with disabilities, both at the individual level (reduced satisfaction and income, and increased health issues) and the organizational level (increased unemployment, turnover and discrimination as well as declining performance and productivity).
Originality/value
This paper provides essential contributions to the field of TM in the relatively unexplored context of employees with disabilities since the emergence of COVID-19. Our literature review suggests there is significant room for developing and implementing adjusted TM strategies and practices to foster effective inclusiveness, accommodations and supportive work environments for employees with disabilities. From this evidence, a number of key avenues for future research and key implications for academics and practitioners are provided.

Abstract
Purpose
Following the recent rise in generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools, fundamental questions about their wider impacts have started to reverberate around various disciplines. This study aims to track the unfolding landscape of general issues surrounding GenAI tools and to elucidate the specific opportunities and limitations of these tools as part of the technology-assisted enhancement of mechanical engineering education and professional practices.
Design/methodology/approach
As part of the investigation, the authors conduct and present a brief scientometric analysis of recently published studies to unravel the emerging trend on the subject matter. Furthermore, experimentation was done with selected GenAI tools (Bard, ChatGPT, DALL.E and 3DGPT) for mechanical engineering-related tasks.
Findings
The study identified several pedagogical and professional opportunities and guidelines for deploying GenAI tools in mechanical engineering. Besides, the study highlights some pitfalls of GenAI tools for analytical reasoning tasks (e.g., subtle errors in computation involving unit conversions) and sketching/image generation tasks (e.g., poor demonstration of symmetry).
Originality/value
To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this study presents the first thorough assessment of the potential of GenAI from the lens of the mechanical engineering field. Combining scientometric analysis, experimentation and pedagogical insights, the study provides a unique focus on the implications of GenAI tools for material selection/discovery in product design, manufacturing troubleshooting, technical documentation and product positioning, among others.
