“Digital India” was launched by the Government of India in July 2015, with a vision of transforming India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. India's momentum toward digitalization took a swift pace after the demonetization of currency notes of 500 and 1,000 rupees. The government stressed the use of digitalized payments through apps that use UPI (Unified Payment Interface) and Core Banking System to move the banking sector toward a more digitalized system. The Nordic countries, on the other hand, had a developed digitalized system from the late 1990s and in the present context, they are in paramount positions in terms of global digitalized economies. In recent times Nordic countries like Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland have performed overwhelmingly in terms of Digital Economy and Social Index (DESI). The Internet penetration in India and the use of mobile phones in the country is compared with the Nordic countries, trying to present the comparative advantage in those countries.

The development of the tourism and hospitality industry in Belarus has a long-term positive trend. This process is uneven and the growth rate is below the global average. To stimulate the development of the tourism and hospitality industry, measures are being taken in the form of creating visa-free zones, stimulating business activity, holding major sport events. The potential for growth in this industry has not yet been exhausted. The assessment of the competitiveness of Belarus in comparison with the neighboring countries showed that the development of the tourism and hospitality industry requires improvement of the business environment, increase of openness for tourists, strengthening of country marketing in the world tourism market.

The purpose of this paper is to propose a new methodology to assess the economic and social impacts of policies to promote mass access to the internet in fixed broadband. The authors apply the methodology to the Brazilian broadband market.

For this purpose, municipal information concerning the provision of EILD is used, and then a stylized model of definition of service penetration based on information regarding the price, the distribution of income and the number of households served is proposed.

The results indicate that cost reduction policies are more effective than measures to promote competition through the introduction of state-owned enterprises in the telecommunication market for broadband service. On the other hand, the results also indicate that the federal and state governments face a dilemma between broadband policy and tax policy.

This paper aims to establish a mathematical model for water-flooding considering the impact of fluid–solid coupling to describe the process of development for a low-permeability reservoir. The numerical simulation method was used to analyze the process of injected water channeling into the interlayer.

Some typical cores including the sandstone and the mudstone were selected to test the permeability and the stress sensitivity, and some curves of the permeability varying with the stress for the cores were obtained to demonstrate the sensitivity of the formation. Based on the experimental results and the software Eclipse and Abaqus, the main injection parameters to reduce the amount of the injected water in flowing into the interlayer were simulated.

The results indicate that the permeability of the mudstone is more sensitive to the stress than sandstone. The injection rate can be as high as possible on the condition that no crack is activated or a new fracture is created in the development. For the B82 block of Daqing oilfield, the suggested pressure of the production pressure should be around 1–3MPa, this pressure must be gradually reached to get a higher efficiency of water injection and avoid damaging the casing.

This work is beneficial to ensure stable production and provide technical support to the production of low permeability reservoirs containing an interlayer.
