About the Editors
Rahul Pratap Singh Kaurav, an Associate Professor at FORE School of Management, New Delhi, specializes in Marketing Management and Analytics, emphasizing both teaching and research. With expertise in quantitative and qualitative research tools, he has contributed significantly to academic journals across various rankings. His global academic footprint extends to adjunct roles at the University of Liverpool, BITS-Pilani, and Taylor's University, Malaysia, underscoring his commitment to syllabus development and research efficacy.
Vinaytosh Mishra is the Director of Thumbay Institute for AI in Healthcare, Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE. He is also an Associate Professor (Healthcare Management, Digital Health and Health Analytics) with the College of Healthcare Management and Economics, Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE. He is a Post Doc Fellow in AI in Healthcare from the University of Arizona, USA, and a Post Doc Fellow in Ethical AI in Healthcare from the University of Ben Gurion, Israel. He has a PhD in Decision Science and Engineering (Healthcare Management) and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), India. Dr Mishra has over 19 years of experience in industries such as Information Technology, Manufacturing, Finance, Healthcare, and Education. He has one Australian and One German Patent in AI in Healthcare. He has more than 50 publications in journals of international repute.
About the Contributors
Goknur Arzu Akyuz, Associate Professor in Logistics Management Department, University of Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK University). She has received her Bs degree from the Industrial Engineering Department, Middle East Technical University (METU). She has 12 years of experience in production planning and control and Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) in different projects and sectors. She also holds an MSc degree in Computer Engineering and a PhD degree in MODES (Modeling and Design of Engineering Systems) from Atilim University. Her research interests include production planning and control, enterprise resources planning, and web-based supply chain management.
Dursun Balkan, Associate Professor in Industrial Engineering Department, University of Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK University). He has received his BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in Industrial Engineering Department, Gazi University. He worked at National Productivity Center and Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology as Productivity Specialist. In 2017, he became an Institution Representative of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology at State Information Coordination Center of Presidency of the Republic of Turkey. He has offered various courses and consultancy services to public and private enterprises at different levels and participated in seminars and workshops at international organizations. His research interests include service systems management, productivity measurement and analysis, performance management, and facilities planning.
Shagun Chib did her PhD from the School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, India. She has published several research articles in various journals, e.g., Children and Youth Services Review, Academy of Marketing Studies Journal, Digital Creativity, etc. Her research interests include religious products, consumer psychology, and influencing marketing.
Manoj Kumar Dash is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management Studies at ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management, Gwalior (MP), since June 2023. He has a distinguished academic background, having earned MA, MPhil, and PhD degrees in Economics, along with an MBA in Marketing from Berhampur University, Odisha. His association with ABV IIITM Gwalior began on March 31, 2010. Possessing over 21 years of extensive teaching and research experience, Dr Dash is recognized for his expertise in Econometrics, Marketing Analytics, Consumer Decision-Making Styles, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Management. He guided seven research scholars and awarded their PhD degrees, and he has completed six funded projects sponsored by ICSSR, MP School of Governance, State Open University Odisha, and MHRD, with an ongoing project funded by MSME.
Rahela Farooqi, a Professor at Department of Management Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, with 25+ years of experience, brings subject expertise in Services Marketing, Retail Management, and E-marketing. She is also the Honorary Director of University Placement Cell at JMI for over 2 years. With a PhD in Management and an MBA from Aligarh Muslim University, she has numerous publications in refereed international and national journals published by Emerald, Sage, Springer, etc. Her paper presentations in international and national conferences span across India, Denmark, Germany, Malaysia, and Thailand covering prestigious institutions including IITs, IIMs, and MDI. Her remarkable contributions include a UGC-sponsored research project, editing management books, organizing workshops and conferences, guiding 20 doctoral students, and conducting extensive faculty development programs.
Sheereen Fauzel is an Associate Professor at the University of Mauritius. Having completed a PhD in Development Economics from the University of Mauritius, her areas of expertise are International and Development Economics, Tourism Economics, and related areas. She has participated in a number of international conferences. She has published extensively and been involved in a number of consultancy projects with Ministries, public institutions, and international organizations.
Surabhi Gore is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Bachelor of Business Administration (Travel and Tourism) at Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim, Goa, since 2012. She has 15 years of teaching and 4 years of industry experience. She has a doctorate in Management Studies from Goa University, Goa, India. Her research interests are tourism, strategy, planning and marketing, transport, services marketing, and customer relationship management. She has published research papers in national and international, indexed multidisciplinary and tourism journals.
Piyush Gupta is a Faculty in the area of Operations Management. He has done a PhD from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi and a postgraduation in MTech from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dhanbad in Industrial Engineering & Management. He has more than four years of teaching and research experience. He has published many high-quality papers in top journals such as Information Technology & People, International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management, International Journal of Productivity & Performance Management, to name a few. His research interests include service operations, behavioral operations research, process analysis and improvement. He has been involved in doing interdisciplinary research as well. He is also serving as an Associate Editor in Emerald Publishing Journal.
Pooja Jain, Associate Professor in the area of Finance and Accounting at Amity Business School, Amity University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. She actively focuses on research work. Some research work has been published in Scopus Listed Journals and reputed peer-reviewed journals. Till now, around 32 papers have been published in national and international publications, and some are in conference proceedings. Apart from research papers, she has written chapters in a reputed book which has been published in IGI Global, Routledge, and Taylor & Francis. She has also edited one book in the area of Finance. Her research interests include behavioral finance, financial management, and financial market, and her teaching interests include financial accounting and reporting, cost and management accounting, auditing, financial management, financial markets and services, project management, and behavioral finance.
Sahil Singh Jasrotia is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the International Management Institute, Kolkata, India. His research work has been published in prestigious journals such as the International Journal of Retail and Distributions Management, Journal of Quality Assurance in Hospitality & Tourism, Society and Business Review, Asia Pacific Management Review, etc. Throughout his academic career, Dr Sahil has displayed a dedication to research, teaching, and collaboration, making significant contributions to the field of Marketing, particularly in the areas of channel choice behavior, product adoption, digital payments, and corporate governance.
Sumi Jha is an Associate Dean and a Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai in India. She has published in international journals such as the Journal of Business Research, European Management Journal, Benchmarking, Gender in Management, Global Business Review, Industrial and Commercial Training, International Journal of Commerce and Management, International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business, and International Journal of Ethics and Systems, among others.
Priya Jindal is currently working as an Associate Professor at Chitkara Business School, Chitkara University, Punjab, India, and holds a Master's degree in commerce and economics. She earned her doctorate in Management. She has contributed more than 17 years in teaching. She supervised four PhD research scholars and two MPhil candidates. There are numerous research papers to her credit in leading journals; among them, seven research papers have been published in Scopus Indexed Journal. Her areas of research included banking, finance, and insurance. She has filed more than 21 patents and two copyrights. She is the editor of three books under IGI Global and Nova Science publications, and the books got indexed in Scopus.
Manoj Kumar Kamila is currently pursuing a Fellow Program in Management from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore, India. His research primarily focuses on ethics in marketing and corporate governance, with his work being published in esteemed publishers like Elsevier, Emerald Insight, Springer Nature, Sage, Taylor & Francis, and Inderscience, among others. Manoj has actively participated in several national and international conferences, and one of the research presentations also got the best paper award at “Third International Conference on E-Business Technologies” – EBT2023, University of Belgrade, Serbia in 2023.
Anoop Kumar, a management doctoral scholar of Amity Business School, Amity University Madhya Pradesh. He has completed his Master of Business Administration from Sikkim Manipal University. His research interests include social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial intentions, digital payment systems, the hospitality and tourism industry, organizational culture, and organizational effectiveness. One of his book chapters is accepted and under publication in a reputed book series by Routledge. He is passionate about learning new research tools to improve his qualitative and quantitative analytical skills in the academic domain.
Yonghao Liu is a young researcher at the College of Management, Sichuan Agricultural University (SAU). Her research interest focuses on artificial intelligence in healthcare. She is the leader of the Innovation Training Planning Project of Sichuan University Students “The effective empowerment of artificial intelligence in rural Healthcare supply” and the SAU-supported research project “The factors influencing the acceptance of artificial intelligence-assisted rural Healthcare.”
Shashi Jeevita Matadeen is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Mauritius in the Faculty of Law and Management since 2016. She delivers lectures both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in finance, investment, and derivatives modules. She has successfully completed the CFA program since 2014 and is a CFA charter holder. She also holds a PhD in Finance since 2016. Her research interests include economic development, financial development, investment, and stock markets. She has also been involved in a few research projects at national and international level, including one funded by the IDRC.
Smriti Mishra, Architect and Urban Planner, is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture and Planning, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, India, and heading the department. She specializes in the field of urban and regional planning and has research interests in perception studies, tourism heritage management, vulnerability of peri-urban areas, vernacular architecture, indigenous planning, and energy conservation and has few publications in her records.
Vivek Mishra is a Faculty in the area of Marketing. Having completed a PhD from KIIT School of Management, KIIT D/U Bhubaneswar, he has more than 6 years of teaching and research experience coupled with over 9 years of industry exposure, in sales and business development. He has published impactful research papers in journals of national and international repute. His area of research interests falls in brand management and Generation Z consumer behavior research.
Yu Mu is an Associate Professor at College of Management, Sichuan Agricultural University. She received two PhD degrees, respectively, in Science, Business, and Innovation from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and in Business Administration from Donghua University, China. Her research interests include service innovation and artificial intelligence. Her work appears in journals including Annals of Tourism Research and The Service Industries Journal.

Anil Singh Parihar, Associate Professor at Department of Management, Manipal University Jaipur. He has more than 15 years of teaching experience in the field of economics and management. A total of two PhDs have been awarded under his supervision. His research interests include consumer behavior, the hospitality and tourism industry, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurial intentions, and organizational culture.
