Longer life means reduced downtime, lower overall costs

Intertronics has announced a new replacement pick and place vacuum nozzle (Plate 4) for Siemens S-20/F4 placement machines. Manufactured by WP Sales, the nozzle is designed for extended life by preventing damage during machine tooling changes. This in turn results in reduced machine downtime and increased productivity. The replacement nozzle has an aluminium body and tool steel tip with a proprietary diamond coating. In field tests, it has provided 100 per cent pickup and mount rates after over four million placements.
