Abstract
Purpose
The objective of this paper is to identify locations factors that Chinese managers look for when making internationalization decisions and, consequently, to identify the top-five policies that host governments can implement to attract investment from Chinese managers.
Design/methodology/approach

The top-five policies that host governments can implement to attract Chinese investment are minimize institutional risk; promote international relations with China; initiate trade agreements with China; offer and promote tax and investment incentives; and encourage more trade with China.
