Abstract

Presented are the research results on some characteristics of women managers in hotel enterprises in Istria, the best‐developed Mediterranean tourist region in the Republic of Croatia. The results pertain to number of women in management, age and educational structure, permanent education, necessary knowledge, capabilities and skills, and delegation of authority and responsibility. The research was performed in 1996.
