Abstract

Examines the administrative responsibilities of a coach in Greece. Uses personal experiences, review of literature and interviews to obtain data for this study. Finds that coaches in Greece usually give emphasis on the acquisition of technical knowledge. Recommendations focus on the necessity of the five functions of management (planning, organizing, staffing, leading, controlling) to the effectiveness of the team.
