Abstract
Discusses latexes (which consist of aqueous colloidal dispersions of polymer particles) as the basis of water‐based coatings ‐ which are commonly, but wrongly, known as emulsion paints. Looks at the different processes and regulations in industrial use and the challenges for the future.
