Tout projet d'activités touristiques dans les pays en voie de développement devrait être précédé d'une analyse macro‐économique qui doit faire apparaître quelle est la structure macro‐économique de la production touristique du pays. Cette connaissance est indispensable pour clarifier si et dans quelle mesure un projet de production touristique contribue à la réalisation des buts et objectifs fixés par la politique de développement et, éventuellement, par le plan de développement du tourisme du pays.

Die derzeitige Bedeutung des Auslandstourismus für Entwicklungsländer In einer Reihe von Staaten, die allgemein als Entwicklungsländer angesehen werden, ist der Auslandstourismus zu einem gewichtigen Exportsektor geworden, wenn nicht sogar zu einer dominierenden Exportindustrie. Der Tourismus aus den Industriestaaten in die fernen Entwicklungsländer wirft dabei anscheinend kaum mehr ökonomische Fragen auf.

Einführung Im weltwirtschaftlichen, wie auch welttouristischen Rahmen gesehen, ist Lateinamerika ein Hoffnungsund Zukunftsland für die gesamte Weltbevölkerung und den Welttourismus.

Becoming a mother is a significant transition in adult development. For women who wanted to have children but found themselves unable to do so, life without the fulfilment of motherhood can affect meaning-making in everyday life. Although increasing numbers of studies concerning childlessness have been carried out, much of this research has tended to focus on infertility and issues around fertility treatments. Little is known, however, about the psychological impact childlessness can have on women in midlife and how they experience the absence of children. The aim of this chapter is to offer readers an overview of psychological understanding in current research trends by reviewing papers that focus on women in midlife who are involuntarily childless. Findings from the 40 most relevant papers will be discussed under one of four key features: (1) psychological distress: medical consequences of infertility, (2) childlessness: life-span perspectives, (3) involuntary childlessness: psychosocial perspectives and (4) coping: ways of building resilience. The findings point to the dominance of quantitative approaches in researching infertility, while confirming that little has been carried out that looks at lived experience of involuntary childlessness. I hope the findings shown here will point to the necessity of psychological research applying qualitative experiential approaches that can facilitate a deeper understanding of women facing this challenge.

C'est avec une certaine joie et une satisfaction toute particulière que je vous souhaite la bienvenue à ce 36e Congrès qui se tient dans mon pays natal, pays qui est en même temps le siège de notre association. Ce dernier fait n'est pas un hasard puisque c'est précisément à Lugano qu'en 1959, à l'invitation des prof. Hunziker et Krapf, différents scientifiques du tourisme se sont retrouvés afin de promouvoir la recherche touristique d'après‐guerre. Depuis que notre association existe — et l'indication “36e Congrès” précise également l'âge de l'AIEST — nous nous sommes déjà rencontrés en Suisse, en 1958 et en 1960 et je me souviens qu'en 1960 déjà nous avons eu l'occasion d'apprécier la gastronomie du Château de Chillon, ou aura lieu notre banquet de clôture.

AIEST Les préparatifs du 30e Congrès AIEST du 14 au 20 septembre 1980 à l'Hôtel Son Vida, Palma de Mallorca, sont de façon que le programme définitif a pu être envoyé aux membres début juin, après un rappel de faire parvenir des contributions écrites touchant le sujet principal «Limites du développement touristique» pour être publié dans la publication du Congrès. Celle‐ci sera envoyée aux membres avant le Congrès.
