Aegis Europe, a leader in Manufacturing Information Management Systems for global electronics assemblers, has appointed Justin Hardwicke to its European team, in the role of European applications consultant.
Justin joins the growing European operations and is responsible for pre- sales activities, product introduction, installation and training at Aegis. Bringing many years experience in technical sales and support, Justin previously held sales and engineering roles at Sony Manufacturing Systems Europe, and engineering positions at AIWA.
Commenting on his appointment, Justin said, “Though companies are moving manufacturing plants to Eastern Europe and the Far East to save production costs, most of the companies still producing in Europe tend to be extremely quality conscious, such as in the automotive, medical device and defence industries. I feel there is a huge potential in helping these sectors to implement manufacturing Execution Systems providing traceability, real-time quality data collection and analytics to assist them in maintaining their distinctive local manufacturing advantages. Aegis has the products to achieve this and I'm keen to become a part of the company's growing success.”
