All the UK administrative operations of Cookson Electronics have been brought together under one roof with the opening of a brand new 4,200 m², state-of-the-art £8 m facility in Woking (Plate 7).

The new building, built on Cookson's 15,000 m² site in Woking, Surrey, will house among other things, the Assembly Materials (ALPHA METALS as was) European sales and administration headquarters, R&D laboratory, IT, human resources and sales support functions. It also acts as the UK regional office and plant for Cookson Electronics PWB materials and chemistry (ENTHONE product range), and the UK office for the Cookson Electronics equipment group (MPM, Electrovert, Camalot and Accel). SCS conformal coating services and equipment will also be fully functional from the same site later in 2003.
