Genrad introduces TestStation Accelerate

GenRad, Inc. has announced the introduction of TestStation Accelerate, an automated, in-line version of the company's new in-circuit test system, which is based on the ultra pin technology. The TestStation architecture provides complex combinational testing for all manufacturers of printed circuit boards.
GenRad's TestStation Accelerate is available in two architectures: the TS 121 and the TS 8X. The TS121 is an all-real pin system, providing non-multiplexed test resources for every node on the printed circuit board. This capability allows for improved testing of densely integrated digital components found in most electronic products today. The TS 8X provides a cost-effective high performance testing solution with a powerful set of tools that address the testing issues faced by today's electronics manufacturers. The TestStation Accelerate can be configured to support up to 2,560 pins.
