Speedline Electrovert launches aqueous cleaner
Keywords: Speedline Electrovert, Aqueous cleaning
PCB manufacturers continue to demand screen and batch cleaners with accurate cleaning techniques, high efficiency drying, a compact footprint and ease of maintenance. Speedline Electrovert responds to this challenge with a new aqueous cleaner for the assembly and semiconductor markets: the AquaJet™.
The AquaJet is a multiple function batch cleaner designed to process PCBs with double-sided ball grid arrays (BGAs), flip chips and micro BGAs. The cleaner features proprietary pump and nozzle technology that removes contamination by maximizing flooding in some sections and impact force in others for cleaning tight spaces. Additionally, AquaJet's stand-off component cleaning capability includes complete penetration into small and narrow apertures, as well as underneath BGAs and flip chips. Also available as an option is Electrovert's Hurricane Jet™ cleaning technology, which produces a coherent sheet of high-pressure high-volume water across the entire product.
The AquaJet offers standard turbine blowers and the exclusive Electrosonic™ Airknife for complete drying under tightly spaced components. This feature produces a directed flow of high-pressure air resulting in up to 68 percent better drying over existing designs.
The AquaJet's footprint measures 154.2mm x 175.2mm (60" x 69") and is completely self-contained. Removable front and side panels provide quick and easy access to every section for ease of maintenance.
