Mydata (http://www.mydata.se), the Swedish component placement systems manufacturer, has moved its UK and Ireland customer support centre to Poole in Dorset.
The new facility has a complete SMT line supervised by experienced process engineers. In addition to featuring Mydata placement, the line also includes a DEK printer, Seho reflow oven, Tekmar optical inspection together with Tecan stencils and ESL solder paste. Customers will be able to carry out production trials on BGA, Micro BGA, CSP, MCMs and COB components.
Michael Bell, Mydata's UK managing director, commented "The Poole facility will give Mydata a better opportunity to work with customers during their pre-production work particularly with new components. It is my intention to promote fully our expertise as a systems in-line placement manufacturer."
