Recapping results in 2007 Du Pont-Russian Paints Ltd said the research and production JV of the two companies will continue the localization of Du Pont semi-finished materials and car coatings on the production capacities of Russian Paints in Yaroslavl. In 2007, semi-finished varnishes and pigment pastes were adapted for two-layer coatings production. The JV started production and supplies of efficient basic enamels to Russian car-making plants. At the beginning of 2008 preparations were finished for the startup of CED localization. Plans for 2008 include further increase of the share of localized materials manufactured by the full cycle including the binder making.
