FSCT issues call for papers for ICE 2008The Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology (FSCT) has issued a call for technical papers and student posters to be considered for presentation at FutureCoat!, which will be held as part of the International Coatings Expo (ICE) 2008, October 15-17 at the Lakeside Center, McCormick Place in Chicago. FutureCoat! Will focus on the theme of “Globally responsible coatings: getting there from here.” The program committee is soliciting presentations in the following areas: manufacturing/ processing, nanotechnology, weathering and durability, high throughput, advances in analytical methods, corrosion and adhesion, wood coatings, automotive coatings, green chemistry, pigments/additives, waterborne technology and regulatory/legislative updates. All abstracts will be reviewed by the FutureCoat! Program committee based on originality, quality and relevance.
