Premium cosmetics in exclusive packaging: The new skin-care line “Beauty Voltage” from Shiseido is not only an experience for the skin but for the eyes as well. Variocrom® Magic Red K 4411 from BASF gives the packaging the special something. The unique flip-flop effect from red to gold emphasises the exclusivity of the cosmetics line.
Packaging is a decisive factor of success in cosmetics. Together with Shiseido and a packaging manufacturer, BASF developed the packaging concept.
BASF meets Shiseido's demand for unique color effects, the high process stability convinced the packaging manufacturer. Whether made from polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the spectacular packaging of the skin-care line's four different products catches the eye. “Beauty Voltage” is exclusively sold in Japan.
Variocrom® Color Variable Pigmentse are inorganic, multiple coated flake-like pigments which, dependent on the viewing angle, display various shades of color. Combined with traditional chromatic pigments, they offer a broad spectrum of color effects.
