The recent RadTech Europe 2003 Conference and Exhibition in Berlin drew more than 550 participants from 32 countries and 174 exhibition visitors, reported Event Organizer, Vincentz Network. The conference program featured more than 120 technical-papers and poster presentations addressing a range of applications, including graphic arts, adhesives, UV-powder coatings, and innovations. End- user sessions focused on furniture coatings, automotive and flexible food packaging.
The exhibition was reported to be the largest on record for RadTech Europe, with 48 exhibitors representing ten countries. The first “Paul Dufour Best Paper Award,” named in honor of the founding member of RadTech Europe, was presented by the RadTech Europe organization to Erich Beck, BASF AG, for his presentation on UV curing with carbon dioxide. Vincentz Network is offering the conference proceedings in two volumes and CD-ROM at a price of 250 euros.
