Dow: specialty polymers team to focus on polyolefin-based polymer products
The Dow Chemical Co. has announced the launch of a specialty polymers team to develop and market polyolefin products for traditional and non-traditional applications for various markets, including coatings, polymers, wood treatment/preservation, adhesives, and others. The company said that the team will combine Dow’s material-science expertise with technologies and production capabilities obtained as a result of Dow’s acquisition of Union Carbide Co. The marketing-management team will be led by Gloria Cotton, Marketing Manager for specialty polymers. Other team members include Paul Nietvelt, Sales Director; John Brindle, Sales Account Executive; Charles Diehl, Research and Development; Brian Walther and Dan Falla, Technical Service and Development; and Paul Oakley, Business Communications.
