Chance and Hunt completes deal with Azelis
Chemicals distributor Chance and Hunt Limited has completed a deal which sees Azelis, take ownership through a 1,000 per cent sale of the company’s shares.
The intention to go ahead with this deal was first announced in March after detailed discussions between the boards of both companies. The formal completion opens the way for Chance and Hunt to accelerate its strategic ambitions to extend its Europe reach and meet growing demands for pan-European services.
The Azelis strategy is one of growth by acquisition to build a strong distribution group, whilst at the same time maintaining the identity and management of its national companies. Chance and Hunt was identified as an innovative and enterprising company with the potential for further growth and development. The change in ownership means that Chance and Hunt gains access to new skills and knowledge within the Azelis family of companies to support its existing market development targets. In return Chance and Hunt offers a strong foundation in industrial chemicals, specialist expertise in a number of international relevant market sectors and comprehensive e-business systems and in-house e-business expertise that can bring significance to the Azelis group.
