Chemetall reports the appointment of Nigel Wood as business unit manager for its Aerospace Division.
Nigel joined Brent Europe in 1991 following Brent's acquisition of Odex Ltd and became a sales representative within the aerospace group, before moving out to the Middle East to take charge of Brent's operation centred in Abu Dhabi.
Nigel spent three years in this role, where he successfully consolidated and expanded the ARDROX sales within this region. In 1995 Nigel moved back to the UK, still with responsibility for the Middle East but now with a broader responsibility for the Ardrox Export Sales, covering such regions as Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, and India.
Then following the acquisition of Brent Intentional plc by Chemetall GmbH, Nigel supervised the transfer of the business to the indigenous Chemetall companies whilst maintaining an active role in the aerospace group.
The experience and expertise gained through these previous roles ideally equips Nigel not only to lead the Aerospace Division but also to re-establish the ARDROX brand as a leading name in the Aerospace market
