Videojet Systems International, Inc. has changed its name, after more than 20 years in the digital printing, marking, coding and imaging industry, to Marconi Data Systems Inc. (MDS). Videojet, Cheshire and Marsh products, manufactured by MDS, comprise a line of digital, non-contact, ink jet printing and laser coding equipment, high speed addressing and mailing equipment, in-line graphic control and postal coding systems. The name change supports the recent rebranding of Videojet's parent group, GEC, to Marconi plc.
