Industrial Copolymers Limited (ICL), the Preston-based manufacturer of specialist resins and polymers for the paint, ink and adhesive industries, has been declared the winner of a coveted Export Achievement Award by Central Lancashire Business Enterprise.
Since its foundation in 1986, the company has rapidly gained prominence worldwide, with an international network of 18 agents installed to look after the sales and marketing overseas. Joint managing director, Dr Len Daniels said he was delighted to win the award (see Plate 14).
Industrial Copolymers' series of high performance materials includes polyurethane dispersions, polyurethane prepolymers, polyurethane/acrylic hybrid dispersions and oxazolidines. As manufacturer of waterborne epoxy hardeners, the company offers a range of products from traditional poly (amino) amides to highly advanced poly (amine) adducts.
