Th. Goldschmidt opens new facilities in Milton Keynes
To mark the company's 25th Anniversary of operating in the UK, Th. Goldschmidt Limited, a supplier of surface-active speciality chemicals, has opened the extension to its manufacturing and technical service facilities in Milton Keynes. The original plant was opened in 1994. Taking the scheduled five months to build at a cost of £900,000, the expansion comprises additional floor area for manufacturing and warehousing to improve material flow and logistics, as well as a new Tego Chemie Service technical laboratory to support the company's customers in the coatings industry.
Mr Thomas Wegener, Managing Director of Th. Goldschmidt Limited, said: "This investment gives us the flexibility to meet the diverse needs of our customers, both in terms of product formulation and delivery, and demonstrates the company's future commitment to the UK. The new facilities will enable us to fulfil most of the wishes of our customers on demand, and illustrates our increasing competitiveness in the UK."
