The UK's premier packaging solutions company, Sirane Ltd, reports a very positive attitude and outcome from the CCFRA-organised conference – Sustainable Food Packaging – current biodegradable and compostable solutions.
Supermarket giant Marks and Spencer has become a key mover in the drive to sustainable food packaging.
The CCFRA event saw leading biotechnology materials and film suppliers such as Novamont and Amcor addressing delegates on the new capabilities of natural and organic packaging and on other sustainable developments in food packaging technology. A comprehensive guide to legislative and governmental background was also provided from various speakers.
