As levels of obesity and overweight continue to increase, primary care will witness an increase in the burden of care associated with managing conditions such as diabetes and coronary heart disease. The NOF have long recognised the need to provide primary care with a tool to support practitioners in developing the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle obesity, and are pleased to announce the availability of a newly developed CD-ROM.

This exiting package makes optimum use of graphic design and video clips to provide information in a format that is both stimulating and interesting. Each aspect of weight management is covered, with a choice to access both summaries and more in-depth information in the form of PDF files.
