Farm foods and crafts

The National Trust has recently produced a booklet as an information source for buying from their tenants food, craft purchases and local services. Nearly 90 per cent of all National Trust land is farmed and their tenants play an essential role in conserving the landscape for everyone to enjoy. The booklet Farm Foods and Crafts from National Trust Tenants lists over 100 entries for farm shops and other rural enterprises. Honey, fresh fruit and vegetables, organic meat and even pine furniture are just some of the products available and the booklet also lists many tearooms and restaurants run by tenants. Copies of the guide are available from: The Trust's Membership Department, PO Box 29, Bromley, Kent BR1 3XL. Please enclose a first-class stamp.
