Halal baby foods
The Birmingham Venture Capital Ltd has invested £50,000 towards a business development programme for Mother Nature Baby Foods. This company is making Halal baby foods for Asian families which are being sold in two ASDA stores in Small Heath, Birmingham and in Wembley. Gazala Saleem who founded the company saw a marketing opportunity for a range of baby foods which were both nutritional and acceptable to a Muslim diet. The products contain no additives, fillers or added sugar, are GM and gluten free and are suitable for babies aged four months and upwards.
