New name as of 2004: OMP – OPTO micro products
The AMA Association for Sensor Technology is expanding its OPTO and IRS2 combined fair to include the topics Microtechnology, Mechatronics, and Materials (M3).
In future the trade fair will be held under the name OMP, International Trade Fair for Optical and Microtechnology Products, in Nuremberg, Germany.
The parallel conferences will continue to be held under their original names.
OPTO – 6th International Conference for Optical Technologies, Optical Sensors and Measuring Techniques, Chair: Professor Dr Elmar Wagner, Fraunhofer Institute for Physical Measurement Techniques IPM, Freiburg.
IRS(2) – 8th International Conference for Infrared Sensors and Systems, Chair: Professor Dr Gerald Gerlach, Technical University, Dresden.
M3 – 1st Conference for Microtechnology, Mechatronics, Materials.
The combined fair under the new name OMP will be held on 25-27 May 2004 in Nuremberg. It will replace the earlier combined fair OPTO – IRS2 – MTT (Microtechnology Thuringia) in the Erfurt Conference Centre.
