Molex Incorporated has unveiled a new innovative ganged RF interconnect system providing ultra- reliable high bandwidth single ended or analogue RF signal connections.
The system's blind-mate right-angle daughtercard receptacle and backplane headers are ideal for applications where high bandwidth signal carriers are blind mated to critical high- speed circuits. Examples of the system's wide range of applications are telecommunications, cellular base stations, wireless networking and where coaxial connections of daughtercard to backplane is required.
The connectors' 50 Ω matched impedance contact system provides low insertion loss and optimal signal integrity. Press-fit termination and locator pegs promote easy and reliable board termination. Modular assembly of vertical signal pairs enables custom loading.
