Asymtek has introduced a system especially designed for dispensing ultra-small dots of conductive epoxy. The Axiom™ X-1010 dispenser, configured with the DV-7000 Heli-flow® Pump, delivers dot volumes as small as 3 nl in volume and 6.5 mil (0.165 mm) in diameter with exceptional accuracy, and can create lines as small as 7 mil (0.178 mm). The dispensing system is ideal for the manufacture of micro-electromechanical systems (MEMs), optics, micro-opto-electromechanical systems (MOEMs), hybrid components, disk drive heads, micro potting, and other electronic component assemblies.

To achieve these exceptionally small and accurate volumes, the DV-7000 pump is configured with the new Nano-shot™ cartridge assembly. With its integrated process controls, the system is more accurate and repeatable than competing technologies for dispensing small volumes, and is easier to maintain. The system requires less maintenance than pin transfer techniques, which degrade in performance over time and are dependent on surface conditions.
