The APEX conference, developed and presented by the industry for the industry, provides significant visibility for you and your company. Papers are sought on design, materials, assembly, processes and equipment in the following areas:

  • Soldering (including lead-free).

  • Assembly level reliability.

  • Environmental concerns.

  • Electronic manufacturing services.

Educational courses

Proposals are solicited from individuals interested in teaching full-day (six hours) or half-day courses (three hours) on topics in the field of design and electronic manufacturing methods to a class of up to 50 persons. Proposals including course descriptions must be submitted by 1 June, 2001. A master copy of the course workbook must be submitted by 16 November, 2001. An honorarium is offered to all course instructors.

As a conference speaker/author, you will also be entitled to a copy of the proceedings (both printed and on CD), and a free full conference registration with complimentary admission to the exhibits, reception on the show floor, the Gala Reception and Concert.

Awards

To recognize exceptional achievement, two awards are available to speakers, the "Best US paper" for US authors and the "best international paper" for non-US authors. Each award is for $1,000 with a recognition plaque. Co-authors share the cash award.
