In an effort to enhance its worldwide support team for customers, Palomar Technologies has named Todd Wieseler, manager of applications engineering. As manager of the department, he will direct a team dedicated to providing customers with services that will aid the users of Palomar equipment in the development of their manufacturing processes.

Mr Wieseler's history with Palomar is extensive. He has worked with the company for over 14 years in many capacities: as a customer, an employee, a foreign distributor and a consultant providing customer support.

Mr Wieseler has worked in the area of process development for microelectronic packaging since 1983. Before joining Palomar Technologies, he was microelectronics manufacturing process consultant for the Cepas Group. Prior to that, he served as applications manager covering the majority of Western Europe for Saneco, S.A. in France, a distributor of Palomar equipment. Earlier, Mr Wieseler spent two years with Hughes Industrial Products Division (now Palomar Technologies) as an applications engineer and five years working for Texas Instruments Military Products Division as a process development engineer.

Mr Wieseler has a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He has been published in IPC and is a co-contributor on one patent with two patents pending.
