Keywords Philips, Semiconductors

Extending its family of RF products, Philips Semiconductors announced the SA631, a new 1 GHz low-voltage and low-noise front-end IC. The SA631 combines a low noise amplifier (LNA) and mixer for high-performance, low-power communication systems, such as 800-1,000 MHz analog and digital cellular phones.

The SA63l is a fully integrated chip, providing increased stability and internal temperature and voltage compensation reducing the need for external components.

The SA631 is available now for below US$1.00 in quantities over l00K in a SSOP20 package. For sales information. Tel: + 1-800-234-7381 (Europe +31 40 272 2091).
