Focus on the net

TMI (http://www.tmi.co.uk/) has grown from Time Manager International, makers of impressive but rather complicated and expensive personal organizers to a fully-fledged consultancy offering training and strategy for personal and organizational development. While you can still buy the organizers online, of greater interest to Quality Focus is the "Inspiring change" companion site. This features an excellent news section, with many pieces more like short articles on change management, longer articles, case studies mainly UK-based) a discussion forum and a quiz area. Well worth a look.

http://www.a-t-a.com/start.htm is a commercial site but it does go some way to explaining the FIN system of change – overcoming peoples' resistance to change by recognising and catering for their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs. The model is well explained but there are plenty of plugs along the way!

The Change Management Resource Library (http://www.change-management.org/) is an extremely useful resource that catalogues nearly all the available material – books and articles – on managing organizational change. The books must be paid for, naturally enough, but we were heartened to see many of the articles were available straight from the index list.
