Video Arts and Melrose now online
Keywords Internet, Training, Employee development
As the Video Arts and Melrose new Websites went online, the companies' managing director, John Lowe, warned businesses that competitive advantage could be lost without an innovative approach to training and employee development.
"A successful business cannot focus on capital alone. It is the people who are driving the company forward. Our new Websites are based on feedback from our customers and we are constantly developing our training solutions in line with customers' needs. This includes feedback from industry experts and detailed information on new learning technologies", explained John Lowe.
Employees are being encouraged to take responsibility for their training needs with Video Arts' interactive self-learning series. Each interactive self-learning package addresses a fundamental skill, using a programme of audio and video clips that are designed to be used time and time again, and still maintain the user's interest. The CD-ROM format allows each individual to work through a course at a time and place convenient to them, and enables the manager to monitor and evaluate progress at the same time.
The Websites feature detailed information on Video Arts' and Melrose's video and CD-ROM solutions. Each training issue is covered on a separate page including reviews of all the latest releases. You can find the Websites at http://www.videoarts.co.uk
