Inspection and test reports issued by SGS Redwood Services are now available to browse on the Internet. In a bid to speed up access to technical documentation and reduce the amount of paperwork involved, a dedicated Web site has been set up which enables clients to search, view and download reports at their convenience. Information will be available 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.

"This innovative use of the Web will dramatically decrease the burden of paperwork involved in reporting of inspections and test work", says Redwood's Business Manager, David Springett. "Documents varying from a simple summary to a 50 page report will all be accessible at the click of a mouse. This new Web site can be used to report and store any document, lab report, photograph or data base."

Clients are able to browse their reports in a secure area protected by username and password access. Documents can be quickly and easily located using various search criteria such as date, report reference, location of job, product stream and customer reference. Once located, the report can be viewed and annotated on-line or downloaded in pdf format. It is also possible to print or even e-mail copies of the report to other interested parties.

SGS Redwood Services provides global technical, analytical and operational services to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
