Worth the investment?
This year has been one of conferences for me. I have already been to three or four – although one or two is my annual norm. All of them have provided some useful information or useful contacts, but, of course, they have varied in their real worth. This “worth” is almost impossible to gauge in advance. What I need is an “interestometer” or “value-add-potentiometer” so that I can tell in advance whether it is worth going. Looking at a delegate list (if there is one issued in advance) sometimes helps, but by then I’ve usually booked. Any suggestions?
