Healthy printing

The Brother HL-7050 printer is claimed to be the most rigorously tested printer in the world, passing 50 stringent tests across ergonomics, emission levels, energy consumption and even its ecological soundness. Choosing a TCO badged product (one that meets the TCO’99 global standard) demonstrates an ongoing commitment to corporate responsibility and improving employee health and safety and environmental policy.

It was the TCO standard that was responsible for eliminating the high levels of radiation emitted by display monitors; today 50 per cent of all monitors worldwide bear the TCO badge.

Adding to its attributes, the HL-7050 is the only printer on the market to include a Braille control panel version for blind and partially-sighted users. This version also features a series of encoded alert tones relating to different functions, flashes an audio message to PC screens if there is a problem and features enlarged type on the control panel.

The HL-7050 uses Brother’s innovative consumable technology to deliver long-term low running costs. Separate toner and drum units mean that users need only buy a new toner cartridge, without needing to remove the waste drum every time the toner runs out. The save toner option reduces print cost per page by 30 per cent when printing draft documents and significantly increases the life of the toner cartridge.
