Hearst Magazines, a unit of the giant Hearst Corporation, is adopting a new learning platform to deliver training to employees.

The learning-management system will be used to organize, schedule and deliver training across several groups, including human resources, information technology and managers throughout all Hearst Magazines’ departments.

The system enables personalized, social and mobile learning across and beyond the enterprise. It delivers speed-to-knowledge in both structured and unstructured formats to democratize knowledge access and boost business performance.

Nicole D’Antuono, training manager, Hearst Magazines, said: “We chose Certpoint Systems for its efficient products and commitment to partnering us. We cannot wait to use the system to streamline and enhance training opportunities across Hearst Magazines.”

Ara Ohanian, chief happiness officer and chief executive of Certpoint Systems, commented: “We share a vision with Hearst Magazines – to intelligently connect customers and content with smart technologies for business impact. Our goal is to support Hearst Magazines’ growth with effective training, ensuring that employees have rapid access to knowledge across platforms from personal computer to mobile to tablet.”

Hearst Magazines is one of the world’s largest publishers of monthly magazines. It has 20 US titles and more than 300 international editions. Its portfolio includes titles such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, Elle Décor, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, The Oprah Magazine, Seventeen and Town and Country.
