Abstract

Conventional wisdom holds that because excessive amounts of water‐soluble vitamins are excreted in the urine, they are non‐toxic. Nonetheless, more recent findings suggest that high doses of water‐soluble vitamins may indeed have toxic effects. These were reviewed by Drs Alhadeff, Gualtiere and Lipton from the University of North Calolina, and were reported in the Heinz quarterly newsheet, Digest.
