Abstract

So, what can we eat? How many times have we heard this plaintive cry during discussions on nutrition and health? After expounding the horrors of fat, sugar, salt and insufficient dietary fibre and finding that most of the foods we buy are loaded with one or more of these demons our future eating possibilities can look pretty grim.
