Abstract

Magnetic power losses in harmonic magnetizing regime: The soft magnetic materials used as magnetic cores in wide frequency band transformers for DC/DC converters must be characterized by high saturation flux density Bs and and low magnetic power losses for all working frequencies. An adequate design of these devices is possible if the magnetic characteristics of cores are known.
