Abstract

Describing the organization and collections of the Library of Congress seems a formidable undertaking, but over the past ten years, Charles Goodrum has been doing just that for both librarians and the general public. Goodrum's three major works on LC are mainstays for those wanting to know what's in the Library, how it works, and how to use it. They are The Library of Congress (Praeger, 1974; rev. ed. Westview, 1982); Treasures of the Library of Congress (Abrams, 1980); and Guide to the Library of Congress (LC, 1982).
