Kremlin Kontour electrostatic finish for Ford Transit axles

Abstract

In the days of the Cortina, Capri and earlier models of the Escort, Ford Motor Company's Swansea plant used to be painting some 200 back axle units per hour as part of Ford's underbody protection programme. To apply the coatings they used a large electrostatic bell booth arrangement.
