Abstract

Over 80 screen printers, designers and print buyers attended the recent launch of Coates Special Product's new Colour Guide at the London Press Centre. The standard colours are available in a range of five different inks: lead‐free CoSol for ultra fast drying paper and board work, Screenlac, a fast drying ink for paper board and many other display materials, Alka, specifically designed for hand frame printing, and Vynafresh and Vynaglaze, low odour inks for both rigid and flexible PVC. This immediately provides colour agreement for printers who often have to work on a variety of substrates. In all, there are 170 different colours in the new guide.
