Abstract

A useful guide to the current West German coatings market can be gained from a report made last month by Dr. Wolfgang Jentzsch, chairman of the board of executive directors of BASF Farben + Fasern AG, and head of the coatings division of BASF AG, when presenting the company results for 1976. Total sales, incidentally, were DM852.1m., of which coatings amounted to 499.2m. (10.4% up on 1975), pigments 234.8m and printing inks 98.3m.
