Abstract

Perkin‐Elmer have announced the availability of three infra‐red spectrophotometers that increase their range to fourteen instruments. The model 720 is based upon the push‐button concept of the earlier model 700, but has been re‐designed to incorporate many other features. Two scan speeds are provided, and two slit programmes allow both high resolution studies and operation under energy‐restricted conditions.
