Abstract
Why authors think that just because they have a new angle on strategy—psychological, self help, or sporty—that the new approach makes the information fresh, is outta my dysfunctional ball‐park. The only way these new takes work are with humor, self‐parody (unintentional does count), or some redeeming worth buried in the footnotes.
