Abstract
Social Accountability (SA) 8000 is a newly recognized international standard governing the ethical sourcing for production of goods and services. A response to growing pressure on organizations to demonstrate nonâexploitative behaviour, its methodology is based closely on the ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 management system standards.
